Would love to get hold of a Fathom.

Ive watched the video a few times and love everything about the game.

Thanks Bowen for the great tutorial.

On a side note, could you do one on Popeye? I have never played one and want to see why it’s widely disliked.

    Keep up the good work.

I was fortunate enough to pick up this machine this past weekend for a great price locally. Thanks for the great tutorial video!

Great video, I admire the way you are able to both play (extremely well) AND comment/teach/explain (in an easily understandable way) at the very same time !

I did underestimate how the spinner can bring that many points, thanks for the tip !

I would formulate the following 2 comments :

    - You advise, not to capture while on multi-ball. I think it’s debatable, because it gives an immediate 100k points (that is, 50k doubled), while it’s quite easy to re-release it again as there is at most 3 left targets (but in practice maybe only 1 or 2) to down to do so. But it’s also quite personal : I admit my multi-ball games never last as I can’t concentrate on both; also, if you are not good at sending one high up, the balls tend to hit each other …instead of hitting whatever else that would score points.

    - I usually do try to get extra balls (getting 1-2-3 in sequence is relatively easy given the short distance to the targets, that are well-centered)
of course, it depends on the setting : if set at 6 seconds, it’s hard, while at 10sec, you have good chances to get one every second attempts. An extra ball pays off because you retain the bonus multiplicator (at least with the usual settings I believe). An extra balls somehow works like a “collect bonus” (absent from the Fathom design), which is extremely interesting as the game goes on and you accrue (upto 1.1million…)

    Happy fathoming ;-)

To Rod : there is at most 6 left targets, because if the 3 of the same colour of the ball captured are already down, you must hit the 3 others to rearm the 3 targets of the same colour.
